Magnificent mountain views, exquisite interior design, and a supportive team of colleagues - the ambiance of Splendido will make you say "wow!" When you walk through the front door, your breath will be taken away as your eyes are drawn to a wall of windows that showcase a gorgeous view of sky-high mountains. And as an employee here, your possibilities are as limitless as those sunny southwest skies.
Located near the foot of the breathtaking Santa Catalina and Tortolita Mountains in Tucson, Splendido is a forward-thinking community for adults age 55 or better. Our mission is to help older adults age and live well, and each employee contributes to that mission-which has won us national awards.
Splendido is one of three communities owned by Mather LifeWays, which is a unique, non-denominational not-for-profit organization based in Evanston, Illinois. Mather LifeWays has been developing and implementing Ways to Age WellSM for older adults for more than 70 years. They create programs, places, and residences for today's young-at-heart older adults. Mather LifeWays strives to provide memorable and extraordinary experiences for its workforce by inspiring a stable, healthy culture of personal growth and a commitment to our company's mission of creating Ways to Age WellSM. Mather LifeWays was named one of "Chicago's Top Workplaces" by Chicago Tribune in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013; received the 2007 American Association of Homes and Services' Excellence in the Workplace Award; and was recognized in 2007 with the Health at Work Silver Award.
Our commitment to serving older adults is equaled only by our commitment to attracting and retaining nearly 500 valued employees. In addition to providing a generous benefits package that includes medical, paid time off, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and more, many other value-added, innovative, and progressive employee programs align with the Mather LifeWays mission of creating Ways to Age Well.
